​"A self-centered teenager, Daisy, goes through her days making snap judgements of everyone she meets.  However, one night she discovers the hidden lives and unknown stories of the same people that she encountered during the day.  After the final bell rings, the door closes, and the conversation ends, what will Daisy learn "after hours"?"

Emily Connolly is a senior at Foxborough High School.  Creative writing has been one of her favorite hobbies since the third grade.  Emily plays the flute in her school's band and runs long distance on the track team.  She also enjoys reading and spending time with friends.

Hana Preil enjoys writing short stories, petting puppies, and laughing with her friends. She likes reading books that focus on characters and their development, like "We Need To Talk About Kevin" and "The Bourne Identity". Hana is currently inspired by CTV's "Flashpoint". She also enjoys doodling landscapes and faces. ​

Emily Bornstein is a high school sophomore who loves films and filmmaking! Ever since she was little, she has been making little short films, even if it was recorded on a phone or Flip video camera! She has written many little scripts and screenplays for herself. Acting and filmmaking has always been her thing! She participates in the Drama Club at her school, as well as the Film Club and a program called Eye in the Sky, a sports broadcasting club. Emily has learned a great amount from the Summer of Screenwriting program and she can't wait to keep writing!

Ian Duffy is a homeschooled sophomore from Collingdale, Pennsylvania. His interests include all things Disney and Pixar, the Legend of Zelda video game series, the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series, the Star Wars franchise, Legos, and, chiefly, writing. Ian is so passionate about writing that he has written ten fantasy novels. The only thing that rivals Ian's zeal for writing is his devotion to his Catholic faith. In his writing, he always makes an effort to include God's message of love. He hopes to be a published author someday.

"Something Beautiful is about a teenage girl who is trying to win an art competition. When she is almost done with her painting, she is diagnosed with stomach cancer. When she is unable to finish it, her brother must choose whether or not to break out his own painting skills and finish it for her."

Sarah Cordner is in 10th grade and has three siblings. She has been acting for seven years. When she becomes an adult she wants to go into film and be a movie director and screenwriter.  "Something Beautiful" is Sarah's first screenplay. ​
