What we are:
Fountain of Youth Productions is a youth filmmaking organization founded by two MA teens that aims to provide New England kids and teens with opportunities to participate in film production. FYP produces high-quality short films created, directed, written, filmed, and edited entirely by youth 18 and under. The program environment is hands-on, and production-based— FYP believes kids can do incredible work when they put their minds to it and are supported by other motivated youth. In addition to films, FYP organizes workshops, events, and meet-ups in the greater Boston area and recently expanded nationally with a script contest and online screenwriting program. They also accept short script submissions from youth around the world. Located in Sharon, MA.
Our Mission:
Fountain of Youth Productions hopes to be an outlet for talented kids to create films together. We provide New England kids and teens with the opportunity to participate in film production in any aspect they’re interested in; whether that be acting, screenwriting, or costume design. We want to give kids a chance to shine and display their talents, whether on-camera or behind it. Our goal is to produce quality movies created by kids.
